How much does a Digital Badge cost?
Applications and Badge issuing is free.
However, The number of digital badges available are limited and will be issued on a first come first served basis.
Where can I use a Digital Badge?

How long is 'Your Future, Your Skills' open to applications?
Your Future. Your Skills is open to applications from 5 May 2020 to 31 June 2020
Does everyone receive a Digital Badge?
No. There are criteria that need to be satisfied to be awarded a Digital Badge.
Does Global Hospitality Certification sit on the National Framework of Qualifications?
No, the Global Hospitality Certification does not sit within the National Framework of Qualifications.
Can I apply for more than 1 Digital Badge?
No. Badges are limited to one per person.
What is the difference between the Entry Level Route and the Professional Level Route?
The entry level route is for those who have full or part time casual work experience in hospitality. Examples of these may include temporary jobs in bars, restaurants, event catering or housekeeping.
The professional route is for those with team member and above experience in hospitality. Examples include roles within culinary, food and beverage service, housekeeping and reception departments.

What Digital Badges can I apply for on the Professional Route?
Please visit www.worldchefs.org/globalcertification for a full description of each digital badge that is available.
Click on the digital badge that best describes your experience and then on MORE INFORMATION and you can browse what the badge includes.
Then, return to website and apply in the application form.
Select the badge you want to apply for.
What's involved in achieving a badge on the Professional Route?
Once you apply, you will receive an email to acknowledge that we have received your applications form and when your application window will be.
When your application window opens you will receive a follow up email from us with instructions on how to access the on-line portal to complete your application.
You will receive access to an online portal to allow you to demonstrate your skills and experience for the chosen badge through a series of tasks
How long do I have to complete my submission once I access the on-line portal?
Applicants have 2 months to complete their application.

What is involved in the Entry Level discussion?
This is a short 20 minute on-line conversation.
To help you achieve the Experience in Hospitality Badge, we need to demonstrate that the skills and experience you gained while working match those that are required to receive this digital badge.
The discussion is based around a series of questions that we will guide you through.
